Precious Finds in Paris

Precious Finds in Paris

I've been to Paris, but never like this. A trip to the most gorgeous city is completely different when you're on the hunt for precious finds. Last September, I had the most unforgettable experience antiquing in Paris with my mom, and we spent a day at the famous Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen, also known as the Saint-Ouen Antique Market. It was an absolute treasure trove of unique and vintage items, from elegant furniture to quirky little trinkets. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of history, and we spent hours exploring the many different stalls. We made sure to get there early to beat the crowds and score the best finds. Pro tip: Some vendors only accept cash, so it’s essential to bring plenty with you. Plus, having a sturdy bag for all the goodies you pick up is a must! After we couldn't shop anymore, we headed back to our hotel. The next day we made our way to the Port de Vanves market, where we stumbled upon even more incredible pieces at a slower pace, making the experience feel a bit more intimate and relaxed.

Of course, no day in Paris would be complete without a bit of indulgence, so we made sure to stop halfway through for some champagne and escargot. It was the perfect way to take a break, recharge, and soak in the Parisian ambiance. If you're a first-timer to the Marché de Puces de Saint-Ouen, feel free to DM me directly—I’d be happy to offer some additional tips to make your experience even better! Whether you're a seasoned collector or just someone looking for unique souvenirs, this market is an absolute must-see when in Paris.
